I am working on a new tutorial for DesignCad, a model yacht hull. I am by no means a marine architect, but I thought lets give it a go in DoubleCad before I do it in DesignCad. Some layers are turned off, scale is not right, but I'll fix that.

I just tried it and didn't have any problems.

Any message or error of any kind?  Have you tried to download it to disk first, and then open it from DoubleCAD?

"Don't try to open the file directly from the forum. download it first."

With respect, I think that anyone who can actually open a cad program would know that.  It is a bit condescending that you think this lowly of someone you do not know.  Thanks.

The report is saying that the file is not supported by the version I have and do I want to show only those parts which are supported.  Ta.

Sorry, I did not mean to offend in any way. That is just a common error that even smart people sometimes make.

If a file is created in Pro and you try to open it in XT you may get that warning.
