Creating Accurate Segments of a Circle

I can't remember how to create accurate segments of circle. I design segmented bowls and urns that are turned in various woods and I need to create accurate segments. These will be used on a cutting sled with opposing  fences. When the wood is presented to the saw blade above each fence the angles created create rings of various sizes. I need to be able to create accurate segments for 8, 12, 16, 18 and 24 segments.
I'm probably over thinking it and that's why I can't remember how to create these segments.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Try the Polygon tool. You can specify the amount of segments, then snap lines from the center to an endpoint along the perimeter.

Another option is the Radial Copy tool. Draw a Line, then Radial Copy around an endpoint (center of your proposed circle).
