Importing OS maps and scaling
« on: February 07, 2012, 09:59:40 AM »
Please excuse such a basic question but I am new doubleCAD and struggling with scaling for working with OS maps. If I enter a OS map using doublecad then how is this loaded 1:1? Where do I find the scaling options? In Autocad, I am sure there is a dfault loading of 1 mm = 0.001 unit. Is this the same for doublecad?

Hope to hear.

Hi Mark
1 step - snap1
2 step - snap2
Trick - if the unit of map is "m", then if you change after opening the map, the units from "m" to "mm" (box - "convert units after alteration" - must be unchecked), and you set the scale  1:1,  it will be corresponding  to scale 1:1000
