How to re install DoubleCad? New or find old install info?

(1/1)

xmechanic:
Back in January I downloaded and was learning how to use DoubleCad, my first go at learning a Cad program.  To facilitate learning I decided to design and idea I had been kicking around. That helped in learning then I actually turned the design into reality  :). Then the program became highly unstable and finally my hard drive bit the dust.

Here I am now and would like to start over, learn some more. Can I just download like a new person or do I have to download as who I was before?  Also this time I have two hard drives with two different operating systems, would like to have this on both drives.

Thank you in advance for any help.  :)

Like a ghost town around here. Well I just downloaded the free DoubleCad like I was doing it for the first time. Used same name and email address, everything seems to be fine, got repeat 30 free days of Pro which who cares really at my skill level. I have not installed it in my other drive, I'll try making a copy and doing it that way.

So it appears to be that if you haven't had free DoubleCad installed in a while (6 months?) you just start over.  ;)

I would log back onto the DoubleCAD site and download a fresh version, but get the XT version - the free one. That will give you unlimited use.

What you did to learn CAD was a great idea and something I endorse. You have something tangible. I also go grab something and create a drawing of it. You can learn so much. I have said this to folk I teach AutoCAD to.
