Text Scaling when saving as DWG

I am having an issue with text scaling.

when i scale a multi line text and save the drawing as a DWG, and reopen it the next scale is not kept.

ie i have a drawing with text style standard at 1mm text height.

i draw my object, then add the notes, view names, etc to it.

if i then need to scale the drawing as a whole, i can do so and the text is shown to have scaled correctly. Then if i save the drawing as a DWG 2007 - 2009 and reopen it in double cad the text is shown as the standard 1mm Text Style format.

i then need to go through and edit individually every text item in the drawing as it will not let me group edit the properties for text height.

is there any way around this? Starting to drive me insane.

Yep, there is a scale factor that DoubleCAd is aware of and that is storable in 2CD files, but not DWGs.

To get around this - put your multiline text into blocks, or a block, before you scale. Block have an associated scale factor that DWG files do understand.

I have to add that DWG canīt handle background colour for text, so I guess the block work around might work for that as well.
