HI Eric,

I had the same issue as the one you mentioned with the input boxes. A reinstall fixed those issues, and after that it was merely reloading the UCS template to get rid of those problems.

Is there any way to avoid installing PRO?

Go to the Doublecad folder with the download, unzip the downloaded file, then go to the XT3 folder and start the installation procedure. You donīt have to use the "universal" installer !

Thanks Michael, that worked fine. Unfortunately the issue remains. I think there is an update available for my graphics, maybe I'll play with it some more but for now putting in the units seems to work ok.

OK what is and how does one "reload the UCS template"? Thanks.

An additional workaround I am having to do: for array copy in addition to putting units on the offsets (in the inspector bar) I have to put a unit on the number of copies or it accepts none of the inputs. A single quote on each works.

The issue that causes this color selection problem is a Windows feature called X-Mouse. On Win XP turning the X-Mouse feature of "TweakUiPowertoySetup" on will cause this problem, turning it off will fix the problem.  On Windows Vista, 7 & 8 the feature in turned on/off in the control panel under Ease of access, make Mouse easier to use,  "Activate a window by Hovering Over it with the Mouse"
